PORT AU PRINCE (HPN) - The jury met in Etc. Caraibe Beaumarchais Wednesday June 24 honored the "Father" of the Haitian playwright Guy Regis Jr, it was learned from reliable sources.

The price Caraïbe Etc / Beaumarchais the best French text 2009 "award from the Association Beaumarchais in partnership with ETC Caribbean, was awarded to Guy Regis Jr, playwright and director of Haiti. 

The author of the translation of the Creole World of Albert Camus was awarded for her piece entitled "Father". 

Caribbean ETC is an association of playwrights, whose objectives are the discovery, training, dissemination of authors from Caracas to Cuba. For four years she translates, edits, organizes lectures in the Caribbean (Venezuela, Guadeloupe, Martinique ...) and in the world (Paris, Quebec, Brussels, New York ...).
