The National Society of the Haitian Red Cross is to make the delivery of 400 houses for vulnerable families in Gonaives. These houses of 22 square meters relieve the 400 beneficiary families have been victims of bad weather caused by hurricanes Fay, Gustav, Hanna and Ike in 2008.
400 houses in 32 villages scattered over a radius of 20 kilometers around the city of Gonaives, have been built to assist families affected by devastating floods caused by hurricanes Fay, Gustav, Hanna and Ike in 2008. The delivery of these houses to 400 families benefiting from this project took place the weekend passed by the leaders of the National Society of the Haitian Red Cross, attended by local politicians in the city, whose mayor Senior Gonaives Stephen Moses, who spoke on this occasion on behalf of victims of recent floods.
